DESCRIPTION AND APPLICATION

Molajoni' s Watching Team is structured to guarantee a quick and efficient intervention in case of start of fire or of an emergency.

The activities covered by the Team are:

Large office and industrial buildings
Museum areas
Congress areas
Exhibition and fair areas
Autodromes
Airline school areas
Helicopter areas
Hospital helicopter areas
Tourist and commercial harbour areas
Store warehouses
Woody areas.

All the specialized personnel is engaged in refreshing, formation and training courses on first aid techniques with the support of all fire fighting and protection equipment.



The qualifications acquired by the Team are:

The technical certificate issued by the Fire Department
as per decree D.M. of 10.03.1998;
The certificate for the qualification of fire fighting in
airports and heliports as per decree D.M. n.930 art. 3
of 23.12.1980 - D.M. n.121 art.5 of 2.4.1990 -
D.M. 2.04.1981;

Furthermore all the components of the Team are immune from penal procedures and regularly checked on their physical and psychic aptitudes as per decree n. 626/94 - 277/91.

In order to guarantee good fire prevention and suppression performance, the organisation is previously discussed with the Responsible of fire prevention of the requesting enterprise, so as to tune the interventions in accordance with the specific needs of the customer.

Molajoni' s Responsible of the fire fighting Watching Team informs all the members of the team making them aware of the emergency and escape plan.

Four driving wheel vehicles, DEFENDER 90 type
Four driving wheel vehicles, DEFENDER 110 type

Equipment for first fire fighting intervention

Portable and wheeled water/foam generators with
a capacity of 500 litres
Fire extinguishers of any type and capacity
Fire blankets of big size
Fire fighting appliances UNI of any type and capacity
Fire fighting shovels, spades and forks
Portable water storage.


Equipment for facilitating escape routes (obstructed or incremental)

Breaking axes and hoisting and lifting equipment to create
escape routes
Hydraulic shears operated by an explosion engine to cut
metal barriers (gates, chains, railings etc.)
Hydraulic retractors with explosion engine
Safety ropes and ladders of various kind and dimensions.


Equipment for emergency lights and communication

Broad beam lights with halogen flashes 4x1000 W with auto generator engine 6kVa
Electric torches rechargeable, high pressure
Radio transmitters VOX system
Megaphones.

Heat protecting clothes made of NOMEX III gr. 260

Sign to indicate escape routes

Luminescent and electric signs supporting the existing one to show escape routes

Automatic systems to detect woody fires

Detection systems TVCC optical and thermal with remote control
Aerial survey.
